When most people find out what we do for a living they are generally fascinated by it as a choice of career and are desperate to know how we earn money online.

Im about to graduate High School, and I really want to find a college or university that offers a masters, or for now, even just a bachelors degree, in Internet Marketing. I was considering Full Sail, since they offer a masters in this, but its online, and I really want to go to an actual location, and still stay here in Colorado. Ive been searching for a while now, and I haven’t found a college or university that offers a course in Internet Marketing. I have found several that offer Marketing, but not specificaly Internet Marketing, which is an important factor, since the carreer I will pursue is one that is done mainly online, and that needs extensive knowlege of specificaly Internet Marketing. If any of you know of any colleges here in Colorado that offer this, I would greatly appreciate if you could tell me. Thanks
Sorry to be blunt, but why do you really need a masters degree for Internet Marketing. I am not knocking it but to be honest there is more than enough information on the net now that with focus and mainly time you can learn the bulk of marketing online in far less time than going through years of schooling.
Please again I am not knocking the fact you wish to get a degree I have a lot of respect for that, but the IM world is different that the offline world marketing wise, the internet is fast moving and leaves nothing in it’s path.

I need your opinion. Which one is better to learn internet marketing, downloading PDF or take a short course/workshop? I want to master internet marketing but the course/workshop in my local area is not cheap at all. Can I master it only by learning from PDF or some books? How complicated is internet marketing? Dear all, can any body suggest me a good course and institute for Internet security. i am engineer but in sales and marketing since 2005. Now I want to Switch my profession to Internet security because I like this field very much. I am having only basic knowledge of computer and programming but don’t know much in networking. Take an IT or computer networking based course.
The exact course depends upon the college or university you plan to attend.
I have found a product overseas, that i would like to promote here in the uk.
Its a self help course, and the owner runs an affilate programme that pays £200 each referall.
I would prefer to do a direct mail offer, as i believe i have a list, that i could promote the product to.
Anyone have any experience of affiliate marketing or direct mail experience.
I have purchased courses seminars before with the top uk guys, andrew reynolds, simon coulson, but if truth be told, im still a bit of a novice.

I know of affiliates making equal profits from direct mail postcard campaigns. There are demographically target mailing lists available for rent, I don’t know U.K. sources or regulations, i the U.S. postal mail is less regulated than email, the central directory of mailing lists is NextMark, working with a list of high converting prospects, perhaps with a prior buying history, makes an otherwise losing campaign a winner.
Some campaigns direct people to call a tole free with a recorded message, some people prefer the case of a recoded presentation over a telemarketer.
One common practice is to buy a reasonably short, somewhat related domain that’s shown on the postcard and setup with a redirect with your affiliate link right to the merchant’s page.
Simple black print on pastel postcards ofter convert better than graphic magazine ad looks.
Anybody knows a legitimate internet marketing course in sg? Hoping to enroll in a reputable school. My knowledge in SEO, web design, Google Analytics, webmaster tools and all are quite all over places, I need a systematized way on how to do it thus I want to enroll in a legitimate course in SG.

I think traditional educational institutions are not up to date on SEO, at least the SEO that works today, and if you know anything about search engine marketing, you know that this field changes very very quickly. So my personal advice would be to stay away from universities offering SEO courses. Perhaps you can take a college course on web design, but not on SEO.
As far as SEO education goes, look for online courses offered by highly reputable SEO experts. One of the best ones is Aaron Wall and his training course on SEObook.com. They aren’t free but quality, up-to-date information on search industry is guaranteed.
Alternatively, you can read up on SEO for free on Google Webmaster Central and on guides like SEO in Practice. I am not going to leave you any links to avoid spam – all those sources will be on the first page of Google.

With a "what’s the best" question you’re going to get answers that are "all over the map." Everyone has their own opinion, and opinions differ greatly. Instead of relying on what one person says here, you should probably go to a site that offers a whole bunch of internet marketing ebooks/files. Browse through the selection and pick and choose a few that look good. Read, read, read. Study up. You’ll know the good information when you encounter it. I know that SEO Marketing Media at http://www.seomarketingmedia.net/ has well over one hundred PDF ebooks on all aspects of getting a website going, using social media to market it, and more. Try that site as a starting point.

There is no need to refer any course first learn to manage a free blogger dot com website and you will get some knowledge about websites. Then move on to wordpress which is a ready made blog platform more professional and very easy to maintain similar to blogger.
