I’ve been using Profit Lance for a while now and have really made out like a bandit.
I see you have done a little research to how people are making money online using affiliate marketing, That’s good.
One of the ways that a person can benefit from affiliate marketing is just by driving traffic to a product you want to promote and then earning a commission on the sale.
I personally make the majority of my money that way everyday.
Right now I have only been promoting products from clickbank.com because the commissions are good. On average I earn $20 – $50 each sale and I get around 15 sales a day. You can do the math from there. But there are thousands of other place that will let you promote different stuff and make commissions on it. Thats the number one way, how all people (just like me and you) online are making a very good living from.
To answer you question about Profit Lance, YES this is where I learned how to do everything. Profit Lance is kind of like a school for affiliate marketing.

No scams… No fees… why would I pay an employer before I even started working?!? Thats not how the real world operates.
i use two really awesome sites. check out my youtube video for them (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJteMSac3QI). its really legit and i made some good money from it. its not going to make you a millionaire or something but if your bored and want to do surveys for some money its pretty good. the good thing is that you can cash out the same day you sign up. most sites make you wait a month or two. but with the sites in the video, they pay you whenever and they pay the fees for your online transactions.
Set up a free blog from Blogger.com – I would advice you to use Blogger if you are not very good with all the server stuffs. However, if you do, I’d advise you to purchase a domain name around the affiliate product you’re going to promote and set up a Wordpress blog.
Once you’ve set up your blog, the next thing is to write articles around the product that you’re promoting and publish onto your blog – write about 2 – 3 articles every day over a period of 30 days. Submit these articles you’ve written to top article directories, such as ezinearticles, article dashboard, etc. – and in the author’s bio, include a link back to your blog. This will drive traffic to your blog from these article directories.
Remember, when you’re writing articles, make sure that they’re of value and not sales pitch.
Also, you can participate actively in forums around the topic in which your product is about – respond to forum messages to help people with whatever problems or questions they have – and in the signature of every forum post that you submit, you can include a link to your blog – this is another way to drive traffic to your blog.

I am a nurse and I only work 3 days a week. Since I have no children, I have lots of spare time. I’m looking for something that is not a scam, (and I’m not particuarly interested in ebay) as a way to make some extra money from home. I’m a full time college student at a really tough university so right now, my sole income is from the internet. I think online is the best idea for you since you need to have a flexible schedule. I don’t have any interest in ebay either haha
There definitely are some legitimate ways to earn money online pretty easily though, but you should never sign up for anything that #1 you don’t know a great deal amount and #2 requires you to "spend money to make money." I’ve tried a lot of different things that ended up being scams before I found the site I use now. ps- be cautious when you see someone post a link that ends in ".tk" … that usually means they’re ‘hiding’ a referral link to a networking site that they want you to register for and get them credit without telling you that that’s what they’re doing. It’s happened to me and it’s not fun.
